Biography

David F. Gallant is a Managing Partner in the New York and New Jersey office of Onal Gallant Bayram & Amin PC.

Mr. Gallant concentrates on Business Immigration and Commercial Law. He started his career as an immigration attorney where he assisted domestic and international firms with their intercompany transfer visas, investment and trade visas, performance visas, specialty employee and extraordinary ability visas, and religious workers. Mr. Gallant also successfully handled complex green card applications including the PERM processes, Multinational Executive transfers, advance degree holders, professional and skilled workers in addition to the investment based green cards.

In addition to his immigration law practice, Mr. Gallant worked at a multinational law firm and an energy company as a corporate lawyer where he managed large scale cross-border transactions, infrastructure projects and structured financing projects with a total value of over of 20 billion dollars. Mr. Gallant is currently heading the firms New York office where he counsels clients with regards to all of their business immigration issues and their commercial law matters including corporate formations, partnership or shareholder agreements, operating agreements, business purchase agreements franchise agreements, distributorship and license agreements.

  • Represented a Delaware-based pharmaceutical company in connection with the acquisition of two iconic office buildings in downtown Wilmington, Delaware.
  • Represented borrower/owner in 3 simultaneous Freddie Mac refinances of four multifamily properties located in Delaware, with aggregate financing in the amount of $92,000,000.
  • Represented the lead lender in a $67,500,000 syndicated acquisition and construction facility for a historic building in Wilmington, Delaware.
  • Represented non-profit community organization in connection with a component of a $100 Million redevelopment project in Wilmington, Delaware.
