Talent Based Green Cards
The United States offers several employment-based (EB) pathways for foreign nationals to obtain permanent residence (“Green Card”). The first (EB-1) and second (EB-2) preference categories are for individuals with advanced qualifications or exceptional skills.
EB-1 Priority Worker Green Card
The EB-1 category represents the first preference for employment-based immigration, designated for “priority workers”.
The EB-2 National Interest Waiver (NIW) Green Card
The Employment-Based Second Preference (EB-2) category is generally for individuals who are members of the professions holding advanced degrees or persons of exceptional ability in the sciences, arts, or business.
